Harrow business rallies behind St Luke’s Hospice in memory of Sarah Perez

More than 40 members of staff from Harrow accounting practice RDP Newmans will take on the Nine Bridges Challenge this July to raise money for St Luke’s Hospice.

The team will walk 6.93 miles across London, crossing nine iconic bridges in support of the hospice and local families facing serious illness.

The fundraising effort has been organised by Lyndon Perez, a partner with the company, whose wife Sarah was cared for by St Luke’s before she sadly passed away in late 2025.

“St Luke’s supported Sarah and myself extremely well,” Lyndon said. “My family and I are endlessly grateful for the love, care, and support we have received from St Luke’s. Their kindness has been a lifeline.”

The fundraising event will be the company’s summer event this year, with the business choosing to support St Luke’s Hospice.

It is not the first time the company has backed the hospice. The business has long held St Luke’s in high regard through personal connections and, back in 2011, staff even walked over hot coals to raise money for the charity.

This year, more than half the team has stepped forward to take part in the challenge.

The challenge reflects not only the close-knit spirit of the Harrow-based company, but also the support and kindness shown to the Perez family by colleagues and the wider community.

Jo Pearce, Interim Chief Executive for St Luke’s thanked RDP Newman’s for its continued support of the hospice.

She said: “Every donation raised will help St Luke’s continue providing compassionate care and support across Harrow and Brent and we truly appreciate people like Lyndon and his colleagues, who help us do that through their fundraising.”
